Hello, I'm currently doing zeltiq coolsculpting every 4 weeks. my zeltip schedules is 3rd, Nov/1st, Dec/29th, Dec/25th, Jan etc.... I want to add vanquish treatment between those my zeltip plan.(example. 1st, Dec - 29th, Dec). so one zeltiq - (one vanquish) - one zeltiq - (one vanquish)..... is it possible? because zeltiq is ice treatment but vanquish is fire treatment. if it's okay, i'd like to do my vanquish next Thursday, 15th, Dec (2 weeks from my last zeltiq). Thank you very much!
Answer: Vanquish and Coolsculpting It seems like you are doing a lot of Coolsculpting treatments spaced pretty close to each other. If these are different areas, that seems fine, but if you are treating the same area again after 4 weeks, that seems a little early. We usually wait 6-8 weeks before treating the same area again due to residual swelling and tenderness. If you are treating different areas, why not treat them all in a single day, wait 6-8 weeks, then treat them again? We had Vanquish for many years and though I'm sure the additional treatments would give you improved results, I can't say that the combination of Vanquish and Coolsculpting would give you better results than just Coolsculpting alone if you include additional treatments.Andrew Campbell, M.D. Quintessa Aesthetic Centers

Answer: Fire And Ice--Getting Great Results with Coolsculpting and Vanquish Radiofrequency; Combine with Cellutone/Z wave Yes, I recommend doing both procedures to get the best results. In our office, we do these procedures on the same day and then follow-up in a month. VASER HI DEF, with ThermiRF and ultrasound are also alternatives for great results in contouring and definition. See an expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Vanquish and coolsculpting together Hi,We have both machines and often do combo treatments. It is best not to do them on the same day. I agree with the other physicians that repeat Coolsculpting treatments to the same area be done at an interval of 6-8 weeks. For larger patients, we often debulk the fat first with Vanquish and then treat focal bulges with Coolsculpting.Warmly,Dr. Liu

Answer: Vanquish and Coolsculpting for optimal fat reduction technologies Hi, As long as your coolsculpting treatments are not to the same area, the protocol you have described would be ok. It is important not to over treat coolsculpting areas too close together as you may have over correction and more complications. We offer Coolsculpting and Vanquish for our patients and combine treatments for maximum effort at non-invasive fat reduction. I would suggest Coolsculpt first, then follow up with 4 weekly Vanquishes and then review at 8 weeks. However, consider that VASER liposuction maybe more cost effective if you don't mind a surgical option.

Answer: Doing both Vanquish and Coolsculpting - Fire and Ice The results will be even better doing both treatments. It's call Fire and Ice and is a great idea. Add the Zimmer Z Wave to get even better results. The CoolAdvantage Handpieces are the newest from Zeltiq and give faster treatment times, more comfortable treatments, and less side effects and perhaps better results. Make sure your provider has these.
