I had FUE 3 weeks ago. I had 3500 grafts in frontal are. It’s been 3 weeks and I still have the shaded dark area in recipient area of scalp. Is this going to go away over next few weeks? It seems to have been improved from a week ago. Bug I’m worried if this is permanent.
Answer: Recipient area Part of what you see are the grafts and part is increased blood flow and low grade inflammation from the procedure. This should even out over the next 3-6 months.

Answer: Three weeks after a hair transplant procedure. This is not permanent. You must begin to touch your scalp and massage it using your hands which may help the redness or shaded area that you have referred to, to fade. We advise our patients to use coconut oil to massage the scalp and it helps. Please consider consulting your surgeon to help you with your post operative care queries.
