He is a really phenomenal person. I was having cold feet hours before surgery but Dr.Sohi handled all my queries even at late hours. The staff at the clinic is really professional. It all went of well contrary to my fear. It was quite convenient there for my family members who were accompanying me. They very taken care of very well, much like me.
I was Grade VII patient and had two sessions with an interval of one year. Total 800 grafts were transplanted from scalp, beard and chest donor area. Both the sessions were FUE transplant. Their office is very clean and like a 5star hotel. Located in a very posh area, they have a very good hotel as well, just across the street.
I was referred by a friend, who got hair transplant earlier. It was a day procedure, everything went well. My procedure lasted for 6 hours. Their was a bandage which was remover next day. Post operative period was uneventful. Transplanetd hair shed after a month. It took 7 months for the good result.
Had a terrible experience with this doc and team. They were very nice during the procedure etc but stopped responding to my messages six months post op when my results didn't come. I got a 20% result and the procedure was very very painful. Eventually i had to go get a second procedure from another doctor, which was Excellent, but that doctor told me that i had already lost so many more grafts due to first procedure
Dandruff could be causing itchy scalp and lose hair. Fixing the dandruff may help in solving your hair loss problem. Try washing your scalp regularly(at least thrice a week) with a shampoo like Nizoral. You could also try massaging the scalp with coconut oil to help relieve the scalp of its dryness. Its less likely to be showing signs of permanent hair loss at your age.
At this stage after a hair transplant you should not worry about any precautions. Using hair fibers will not affect the final result.
This is not permanent. You must begin to touch your scalp and massage it using your hands which may help the redness or shaded area that you have referred to, to fade. We advise our patients to use coconut oil to massage the scalp and it helps. Please consider consulting your surgeon to help you with your post operative care queries.
There is no visible growth in the first 12-14 weeks after a hair transplant procedure. You must clean your scalp properly every single day while applying pressure because yes even though your roots are safe and they will grow hair eventually these crusts, if not cleaned, will hamper growth.
Its completely normal for you to see some hair while you wash off scabs. In the first three months after the surgery while the roots are set, the implanted hair tend to shed. Growth begins from Ideally third-fourth month and continues upto one whole year.
