Hi Samantha. Messaging Radiesse after the first 24-48 hours is difficult. The product tends to "set" not too long after injection and this makes it difficult to manipulate with message. Best bet is to go back to your injector if you feel there is asymmetry and have them do a revision injection. To see examples of Los Angeles Radiesse injections, click on the link below.
Radiesse is an FDA-Approved filler that we use very frequently in our office to sculpt the contours of the face. Since we are a national center of excellence for filler reversal, we also encounter patients from other doctors' offices who wish to have Radiesse fillers removed for one reason or another. In our office, we employ a directed technique to visualize the filler material, if possible on ultrasound, and then use non-surgical methods to dissolve the filler or granuloma tissue using intralesional injections. There are many methods using a combination of enzymes, intralesional modulators of scar tissue, and Kenalog to help reduce volume and remaining filler. These techniques require meticulous attention to detail and can be performed at intervals of two to three weeks to achieve longterm effect. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
There is typically some swelling after Radiesse which is variable but can sometimes last a few weeks. This may be the reason for your perceived asymmetry. Waiting 2-3 weeks before making a final judgment on whether or not touch ups are required is recommended.
I suggest warm compresses, antihistamines, and light massage or pressure. Radiesse swells often more than others if injected with needle and can take 2-3 weeks to settle down. Cannula injections next time will limit this issue. Best, Dr. Emer.
It depends on the time frame. If it is immediate post injection, gentle massage may be of some benefit. I would recommend checking with your doctor before your perform anything vigorous. He will be most aware of the volumes that were injected, and may or may not want the area massaged.
It is common to have some swelling for 1-3 days after Radiesse injections. Using ice or frozen peas in plastic bag that you wrap with a thin dish towel will assist the swelling. Do not over do the ice 10-15 minutes 2-3 times a day. Then massage the cheeks upward toward the ears with moisture cream.
Thank you for your question. It is normal to have some swelling after Radiesse injections. You can apply some ice to the treated area to help reduce any swelling. However, Radiesse tends to set very quickly after injection and makes it difficult to manipulate after injection. It is best to follow up with your injection if you feel there is still some asymmetry. Your injector can better assess the situation. Best of Luck!

I think that you actually look great after filler injections around your mouth! You shouldn't expect to completely alter your look forever. As you know, fillers are temporary injectables that are metabolized by the body. If you are looking for something else, then you should...
Radiesse has been proven to NOT turn into bone or promote bone growth when injected to this area. I use it on the bottom of the feet to supply support to athletes and those who wear high heals a lot. Best, Dr. Emer.
Flattened or inverted nipples can be a congenital situation but may also be related to scarring from breast feeding. This condition occurs in 2 out of every 100 women. Any dermal filler in this area would be considered "off label" though good results can certainly be achieved with an experienced...
