Will cutting off subcutaneous tissues in the nose trigger the growth of scar tissues?

Hi. I have a very fat nose tip and doctors suggest cutting off some subcutaneous tissues in the tip area to make it smaller. But will cutting off subcutaneous tissues trigger the growth of scar tissues, and eventually make the nose tip even bigger than the pre-op? Thanks a lot!
