Dr. Jason Roth is an exceptionally kind, ethical, and highly skilled otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon whom I recommend without hesitation. One month ago, he performed a 3 area Facelift on me , and I am absolutely delighted with both the aesthetic outcome. Before confirming my surgery with Dr. Roth in on 30/7/2025 , I consulted 3 other specialists over the course of a year. He was the only surgeon who understood that I wanted to look refreshed and not mutton dressed as lamb. His manor is refreshingly ethical—he took the time to listen carefully, answer all of my questions, and never once made me feel rushed or pressured. It is clear he is not driven by profit, but by doing what is truly best for his patients. By choosing the 3-area deep plane technique, I was able to retain much of the natural character of my neck, face, and brow. My face looks natural without looking done!, avoiding the shiny and pulled look that often results from over-the-top facelifts. The outcome is exceptionally natural—particularly ideal as a female patient—as no one would suspect I had undergone surgery. At the same time, the jawline, neck, and face have significantly improved my side profile and overall full face profile balance. Dr. Roth’s reception team also deserves recognition. From my very first consultation, all staff stood out as warm, professional, and highly capable. Throughout the pre- and post-operative process, I was provided consistent support and clear communication via both email and phone. The care and attentiveness made the entire experience seamless and reassuring. I cannot recommend Dr. Jason Roth highly enough. He is a distinguished specialist who genuinely cares for his patients and leads an exceptional team, both in his clinic and in theatre. Their professionalism clearly reflects his values of integrity and excellence.
Exceptional explanation of the Facelift procedures that I wanted to have. The whole care team supporting Dr Jason Roth are committed to patient care and outstanding results. Every aspect of the procedure was discussed with me right up to the surgery, and the surgery was very successful including the healing process etc. 10/10 !
Dr. Jason Roth is an exceptionally kind, ethical, and highly skilled otolaryngologist whom I recommend without hesitation. Six months ago, he performed a septorhinoplasty with turbinate reduction on me, and I’m extremely pleased with both the functional and aesthetic outcomes. Before confirming my operation with Dr. Roth in late 2024, I consulted six other rhinoplasty specialists over the course of a year, trying to get as many opinions as possible. He was the only surgeon who recommended a preservation rhinoplasty. He placed strong emphasis on preserving nasal anatomy and never compromising function in pursuit of cosmetic changes. He also showed genuine ethical conduct and took the time to carefully listen to my concerns and answer my questions—he is clearly not a surgeon driven by profit or inclined to exploit vulnerable patients. By opting for the preservation technique over the conventional structural approach, I was able to retain most of the natural characteristics of my nose. My naturally thinner nasal bridge was maintained in the frontal view, avoiding the significant broadening that would likely have occurred with a structural rhinoplasty. The outcome looks exceptionally natural—particularly ideal as a guy—as no one would suspect I had undergone surgery, despite the substantial de-projection and noticeable improvement in both my side profile and nasal tip. In addition to the aesthetic result, I’ve experienced a significant improvement in breathing—by at least 60%. This is especially notable given I also have pre-existing nasal issues unrelated to the deviated septum and turbinate hypertrophy, which cannot be addressed surgically. Dr. Roth’s reception staff are equally commendable and incredibly helpful. Emma, in particular, made a memorable first impression. She later provided exceptional support and consistent communication via email and phone throughout both the pre- and post-operative process, and she is outstanding at her job! I cannot recommend Dr. Jason Roth more highly. He is a distinguished facial plastic surgeon and rhinoplasty specialist who genuinely cares for his patients, supported by an incredible team—both in the office and in theatre—whose professionalism clearly reflects his values. I also strongly encourage men seeking a natural-looking rhinoplasty—one that does not feminize the face or disrupt facial harmony—to book a consultation with Dr. Roth. You will not regret it.
Dr. Roth is a specialist in facial plastic surgery—the only kind of surgeon I’d ever trust with my face. I had, what I consider to be, the works: neck lift, brow lift, facelift, buccal fat removal, and blepharoplasty. And honestly, I felt that it was indeed time to address it before deeper furrows formed. From the initial consultation through surgery, recovery, and post-op follow-up, Dr. Roth and his exceptional team—including the anaesthetists, administrative staff, and hospital partners—provided genuine, compassionate care, both medically and emotionally. Dr. Roth is a thoughtful, ethical physician who offers honest guidance. If he believes a procedure isn't in your best interest, whether for your health or for achieving the most natural aesthetic result, he will advise accordingly. Your face deserves this level of care, expertise, and honesty. His deep expertise in facial anatomy comes from being both an ENT and facial plastics specialist, trained in Australia and overseas. If you’re considering a facelift, I highly recommend consulting with Dr. Roth. I've been transformed—restored to a bright, naturally feminine appearance—and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.
From my very first appointment through to my follow up appointments, Dr Roth and his team have been absolutely wonderful. Everything was explained in full and the care that I received was exceptional. My expectations have been surpassed with the results. I would highly recommend Dr Roth without hesitation.
My experience with Dr Roth was excellent. From the initial appointment I felt looked after, confident and completely heard. The pre and post-op care was meticulous. You can fully trust you’re in expert hands! The surgical results are astounding (septorhinoplasty with turbinoplasties). My breathing has remarkably improved, there are no visible scars, and the aesthetic results are exquisite - truly masterful work. Dr Roth is patient, kind and thorough in his care. His team of lovely receptionists are an extension of this, they are warm, approachable and go above and beyond to help (a special thank you to Emma), plus the admin was seamless. I was frequently checked up on throughout the entire process, and never once felt rushed, uncertain or nervous! I highly recommend, I wish I’d gone to him years ago, absolutely life-changing! Choosing him as my surgeon was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Thank you Dr Roth and Team!
Give this doctor an award - for his consummate surgical skills; his gentleness; his extraordinary pre- and post-operative care; and for doing exactly what he said he would do. Dr Roth exceeded my expectations in every way, and I set my bar very high, did substantial research beforehand. I can only thank him and his kind and helpful administrative assistant, Emma. This was a very good experience for me.
Dr Roth’s website contains easy to read information of the procedures he offers, his training and international experience as an ENT and facial surgeon. It immediately stood out from others with its lack of personal promotion and factual description of the plus and minuses of various procedures. Seven weeks ago Dr Roth performed a deep plane face/neck lift plus smaller procedures tailored to my needs. I am ecstatic with the result. From the first consultation I knew I was in the right hands. He and his staff (including nurses) are exceptionally caring people and their aftercare has been wonderful. I unreservedly recommend Dr Roth if you are seeking a facial surgeon of the highest standard to give you a result which is natural, beautiful and undetectable. He is an artist.
I had a wonderful experience with Jason Roth, who absolutely nailed my blepharoplasty brief. I have always had hooded eyes which, over the years had begun to cause a feeling of heaviness around my lower forehead by every afternoon as well as a decrease in lid area which, was only going to get worse. I didn’t want to change the style of my eyes or to not look like “me” — after all, I’ve always quite liked my eyes — I just wanted the heaviness gone, and my eyes to look refreshed and to be “restored” to previous years. Dr Roth was so particular and measured things out perfectly removing aprox 3mm of skin only (no muscle or fat as this would change my appearance too drastically) which has resulted in basically having the clock turned back a decade! I have no more of that annoying, draining “heavy” feeling, and I have even felt inspired to wear (and enjoy!) eyeshadow again — which I now realise is something I haven’t done for the past 2-3 years! Thanks and a huge bravo, Dr Roth!
I could not recommend Dr Roth more! He did my rhinoplasty, removed my adenoids and reduced my turbinates. Dr Roth did a fantastic job achieving the natural look we had hoped for and has drastically improved my breathing and I am feeling healthier than ever. Massive thank you to Dr Roth and his team!
The two vertical lines running just beside the midline of your neck are the edges of the platysma muscle. In some patients these can be made less obvious through injections like Botox/Xeomin. They can also be sutured together in a procedure called a "platysmaplasty". If you had a neck lift or lower facelift I think you should consider a platysmaplasty at the same time. These terms can be all used interchangeably which can be confusing. Often a necklift includes a platysmaplasty so discuss all this thoroughly with your surgeon.
Hello. Thank you for your question. You may have a couple of sutures starting to poke through that your surgeon could remove. It may be worthwhile seeing a cosmetic dermatologist who has interest in laser treatments. These can be helpful with redness of the skin and some of the other changes that have developed in your neck. Further surgery will not help the skin although it may be able to lessen the prominence of the vertical platysmal bands.
Hello. Thank you for your question. I see that it was posted back in 2019. If you are still having problems, I have had one patient experience a similar sensation under her neck skin. I referred her to a neurologist who treated her with some medications that were very helpful to settle things down. This could be something you can try if you have not already done so.
Thank you for your question. I have seen some excellent deep plane facelift results in patients in the late 20's and 30's. Typically these patients had significant redundant skin with poor elasticity. This can be checked for as part of a pre-operative consultation. The major concern in your patients is how long the surgery may last for. Gravity and time will be working against you so it is possible by 10-15 years things will be right back where they started and another procedure will be necessary.
Thank you for your question. Some types of facelift do not release the midface and midfacial fat and hence lead to little change in the appearance of the nasolabial fold. The deep plane facelift releases a group of ligaments between the skin and deeper structures call the "zygomatic ligaments". Once these are released it allows the midface to be repositioned. This will elevate the skin and soft tissues of the nasolabial fold. Fat grafting is not necessary.
