to wait longer than most others because it can take several months to a year
before the final results emerge. It isn't unusual to have the type of swelling
shown in your photos 2 months after the procedure. The healing process is
continuing (which is why it's still tender to the touch), and it isn't really
possible to fully assess your results at this point. Of course, if you have
concerns you should contact your plastic surgeon so you can discuss those with

In general, 70% of the swelling subsides after 3-4 months, and it may take 18-24 months to see the final results of surgery. Swelling after surgery can be due to the following: Whether the procedure was a revisionWhether the procedure was open or closed Whether tip work was performed Thickness of the patients’ skin I would recommend following up with your surgeon, as he or she is familiar with the nature of your surgery and can advise you during the healing process. You need to see your surgeon and discuss your concerns. You do have a lot of swelling. Most surgeons ask you to wait 12 months to allow selling to reduce. But if you have significant problems that are affecting your life then you can ask for steroid injections or more surgery revision.
