What happens if one does CoolSculpting and then gets pregnant?

becoming pregnant. It will not affect your ability to conceive or carry a child at all. The fat cells
will be permanently destroyed in the area following CoolSculpting so there is no downside to

You can have Coolsculpting before getting pregnant. Keep in mind, for best results with Coolsculpting, I recommend a combination approach. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. VASER with ThermiRF is a great alternative. Having a CoolSculpting session now should have no effect on a future pregnancy.  It would be fine for you to be treated now and get pregnant in a year or two.  

Hello Anna79760,Thank you for sharing your question and concern. Fear not having CoolSculpting now and becoming pregnant in a year or two as you indicated will create no issues for you. Your ability to become pregnant, carry and have a normal pregnancy/delivery will be the same for you whether you have CoolSculpting or not. No relation. I wouldn't recommend having it if you are actively trying to get pregnant and definitely not if you are pregnant. 

There is no reason you couldn't do Coolsculpting now for your stomach, if you are not pregnant.  Coolsculpting will diminish the fat cells in the treatment areas. (Eliminate them permanently)  There's no harm or downside to working toward the fat stomach you want now. There is no reason to wait until after pregnancy with respect to results or safety. Hope that answers your question.Good luck 

In general, Coolsculpting prior to pregnancy is completely fine and should still yield lasting good results. Coolsculpting typically results in a 20-25% reduction of the fat in the areas treated. This is a permanent reduction in the number of fat cells in the area, so even after the body's fluctuations with pregnancy you should still see the results of your treatment as long as you return to your pre-pregnancy weight.
