Doctor put 5.5 mm silicone. Originally had a flat nose. I’m not sure if it’s still low, do feel like it could be a bit higher, or maybe not so curved as it looks low frontal view. Any insight is appreciated.
Answer: Revision rhinoplasty If you would like to increased the height of your dorsum, revision rhinoplasty to remove the silicone implant and replace it with your own tissue such as rib cartilage would be a great option. Tissue from your own body (autologous grafts) will give you a safer, more permanent result than synthetic implants. Especially for dorsal augmentation (building up the bridge) using cartilage that is finely diced and wrapped in fascia taken from your scalp can be made into a custom size and shape for your particular nose (DCF). By dicing the cartilage the problem of warping is eliminated, and since it is tissue from your own body, it quickly becomes incorporated into your nose. Results are certainly surgeon dependent, so it's important to do your research in finding a surgeon that specializes in this technique. @drdonyoo @asianrhinoplasty

Answer: Option of heightening your nose more, must be carefully evaluated. Regarding the height of the radix, it is subjective, so if you still feel it is low, you can make it look taller by replacing the implant, but in my personal opinion, you need to be careful about raising it taller, as the nasal skin may become thinner and the implant may show through the thinned skin. More important than height is that your implant deviates to your right, which needs to be fixed by revisional surgery. I don't know how the tip of your nose was operated, but something is showing through the tip of your nasal tip skin. If it is a transplanted cartilage graft, it needs to be corrected through internal tip skin reinforcement, but if the silicone tip is in a situation where it presses the tip skin, it is necessary to replace long or L-shaped silicone with a shorter one and do nasal tip surgery using the cartilage graft. The exact situation requires examination and X-rays.

Answer: The height of your nasal bridge can only be assessed on a profile facial photo. If you started with a broad and flat nasal appearance, you have nice narrow bridge lines on front view after your surgery with a 5.5 mm silicone graft. If you are concerned that you are nasal bridge is still curved on profile, depending on your examination, microdroplet silicone 1000 injections may be considered for adding permanent volume for a straighter nasal profile appearance. Please consider re-asking your question with profile photos. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
