I have had a BSSO, LeForte and Genioplasty. I had those procedures because I had a cant, but even after the hard tissue was corrected, I still had soft tissue assymetry. Last year, in an attempt to address the soft tissue assymetry, I underwent fat grafting and platysmaplasty. Now I am noticing lumpiness Can I get liposuction to correct the lumps and contour my jawline, or am I needing a facelift?
Answer: Neck contour Your neck has an uneven fat distribution and with previous surgery you need to show us before and after pictures so we know which part of this comes from your previous procedure and what it look like before you had the fat grafting and platysmaplasty. Your neck looks like inside Liposuction but that may not be the case. There’s definitely scar tissue and contraction of the scar tissue is probably the main culprit for the contour irregularity. Liposuction is most likely going to make things worse. Perhaps a proper neck lift with re-draping of the skin is a better solution. With having multiple previous operations things become more complex, difficult and unpredictable. This also means the need for finding the most talented and experienced surgeons becomes even greater.
