What went wrong with my Thermi tight RF procedure? (photos)

Your physician hit a blood vessel and you got a lot of bruising that will take a few weeks to resolve.  LED light therapy, pulsed dye laser/yellow laser and hyaluronidase injections will speed up the healing and/or hyperbaric oxygen.  Please see an expert for future treatments. Best, Dr. Emer.

The bruising is probably related to a "injection hematoma" - basically, when the local anesthesia was injected, a small blood vessel got injured, and bled into the tissues a bit.  The good news is that the bruising will fade over the next 7-10 days, and there shouldn't be any long term problems. 

I have to say that bruising after ThermiTight is not very common. That being said, it does appear that you have a decent amount of bruising around the mouth region. This was likely trauma from either the cannula used to heat the tissues or during infiltration of the local anesthetic prior to performing the procedure. At this point there is not much you can do other than waiting it out and letting the bruising resolve. Make sure that your physician knows that this happened so that they can follow you closely until this resolves.

the procedure. If that is the case, this should resolve after a few more weeks.
