it seems more doctors are using thermi tight for cellulite. the results look good and with more tightening what are the doctors opinion on this treatment versus cellulaze.?? cellulaze is starting to get more bad reviews, how could this be? it doesnt seem so for thermi tight which is also cheaper.
Answer: ThermiRF Versus Cellulaze Cellulaze has become used less and less in my practice for cellulite i like Vaser smooth with fat transfer or Sculptra injections and then to finish the improvement ThermiRF. I suggest a formal consultaiton to see what is best for you. Dr. Emer.

Answer: The answer is probably 'neither' is going to help a huge amount but maybe a little While there are lots of pictures that show dramatic results for both of these treatments, results will vary and the treatment of cellulite is very much dependent upon individual areas and varies from person to person greatly. I would recommend getting a few opinions first before you go with a 'device' as it won't always live up to the hype. The most important thing is to realize that cellulite is not going to improve that much, even in the best of situations so if the money you are spending on it is intended to get it 100% better (or even 50% better) save it for a while as the technology isn't quite there yet.

Answer: ThermiTight vs Cellfina vs Cellulaze vs Velashape vs. for cellulite I haven't used Cellulaze and I have seen questions develop about its effectiveness recently. I have had the pleasure of training in ThermiTight for cellulite from an expert who was using this device in the research days prior to the FDA clearance, and we saw evidence of persistent cellulite reduction three years treatment with ThermiTight. Cellfina, is a newly FDA-cleared device for cellulite. Thermi uses radiofrequency to heat the tissues and Cellfina uses a needle to release the bands that hold the skin down to the underlying tissues creating the indentations of cellulite. Both use local anesthetic to numb the subcutaneous tissues underneath the skin to make it more comfortable for the patient. Other treatments also show evidence of improvement of cellulite, such as Velashape, but the long term effectiveness, without maintenance treatments, might not be the same as ThermiTight or Cellfina. The information provided in Dr. Shelton's answer is for educational purposes only and is not intended to constitute medical advice. Answer: TREATMENT OF CELLULITE There is no effective treatment of cellulite; however, subcision, lipolysis and collagen induction are necessary to achieve improvement. In my experience, LASER-assistent lipolysis, subcision and sub dermal thermal coagulation to induce collagen production and skin tightening works well on the right patient. Patient selection and operator experience is the most important factor in achieving the cosmetic goals.

Answer: ThermiTight versus Cellulaze for cellulite I have not used the Cellulaze for cellulite although I have trained on it. My experience with ThermiTight is fairly extensive and I feel that it is a good technology. Please keep in mind that all of these energy treatments for collagen as well as lipolysis work on the basis of heat. I believe that the ThermioTight is the best technology for fat reduction and collagen tightening that I have encountered. This includes other forms of energy including ultrasonic and microwave. Ultimately it is the expertise of the surgeon that will determine the outcome as much as the patient characteristics.
