Answer: TREATMENT OF CELLULITE There is no effective treatment of cellulite; however, subcision, lipolysis and collagen induction are necessary to achieve improvement. In my experience, LASER-assistent lipolysis, subcision and sub dermal thermal coagulation to induce collagen production and skin tightening works well on the right patient. Patient selection and operator experience is the most important factor in achieving the cosmetic goals.

Answer: ThermiTight versus Cellulaze for cellulite I have not used the Cellulaze for cellulite although I have trained on it. My experience with ThermiTight is fairly extensive and I feel that it is a good technology. Please keep in mind that all of these energy treatments for collagen as well as lipolysis work on the basis of heat. I believe that the ThermioTight is the best technology for fat reduction and collagen tightening that I have encountered. This includes other forms of energy including ultrasonic and microwave. Ultimately it is the expertise of the surgeon that will determine the outcome as much as the patient characteristics.
