Hi, a cannula or laser fiber, leaves a empty space where it is interested (creates a tunnel) also sometimes these fibers melt fat, which also can leave this tunnel even deeper, and a crease so the area might seem wavy 〰... What are the side effects of thermithight? As it is a fiber inserted, there must be some, of these things it can create?

Thermi is a great treatment for skin tightening and fat reduction to localized areas, but if it is not used properly it can burn or damage the skin.  You want to go to an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Potential side effects from ThermiTight include(all very rare): bruising and potential for contour deformities to the skin(never seen even after performing over 100 procedures).  The temperatures that are used to tighten the skin with the ThermiRF device does not cause fat loss.  There is a technique that involves raising the temperature of the device to a higher setting to potentially dissolve some areas with excessive fat. This woks particularly well in the submental(under the chin) region coupled with microliposuction.

Thank you for your question. ThermiTight is a minimally invasive procedure that
utilizes the technology of the ThermiRF device to deliver controlled thermal
energy into your treated areas. The ThermiRF device is attached to a small
probe that gets painlessly inserted into your skin. Before inserting the probe,
we use a local anesthetic to ensure your comfort. Once the probe is in
place, the radio frequency energy gets sent into your tissues which stimulate
collagen to tighten the skin. ThermiTight also helps to encourage natural
collagen and elastin development in your treated areas helping your skin and
tissues look youthful and firm. After having your ThermiTight treatment, you
may notice some minor redness and swelling in your treated areas. This will
typically dissipate within 24 hours and you can return to your normal routine
within that time. Your results from the ThermiTight treatment will be immediately
noticeable and will get better over time as more collagen and elastin are
produced in the area. ThermiTight results can last for several years. If you

Hi Marianne thank you for your question. You should look into doing ThermiTight with a trained physician that specializes in ThermiTight and follows the procedure protocol. Protocol includes utilizing a flir infrared thermal camera during ThermiTight procedures to monitor the internal and sub-dermal heat of the treated area. Without this special camera, you run the risk of getting burned or damaging your skin. Something to be mindful of. Good luck!
