Non surgical nose job. Would it make the tip of my nose smaller?

When somebody is unhappy with the width of their nose and nasal tip, rhinoplasty surgery tends to be the procedure of choice for achieving a narrower, and less distracting nasal appearance. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Without seeing a photo, it is difficult to assess how a non-surgical nose job would alter the appearance of your nose. Generally, the filler is used to rectify irregularities of the nose on the bridge of the nose to build volume or give a straighter appearance.  Sometimes it can give a lifted appearance to the tip, thereby making it appear smaller, but this is really case dependent. Realistically, you probably won't be able to achieve a smaller appearance - for this you would probably require a Rhinoplasty. 

Thanks for your question and photos. Small irregularities and asymmetries in the nose can be improved with fillers and one can either use permanent or temporary fillers. Among the permanent fillers are FDA approved, Bellafill ® or fat transfer (which, of course, comes from your own body). Fillers will rarely improve nasal obstruction, however.  For a life long result, a rhinoplasty is still generally the gold standard but many of my patients are delighted with what a filler can do, especially if one's expectations are properly managed.  Best to have an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Thank you for sharing your question.  Though the tip of the nose can be made to appear smaller with careful placement of dermal fillers it is adding volume and will not make the profile of the nose smaller.  Though photographs would offer the best advice I would see an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon in consultation to discuss your options. 

Hi and thank you for sharing your question here! It is somewhat
difficult to give any definite answers without seeing you and examining your
face closely. This being said, the most common target area for non-surgical nose
job is the nose bridge area and we commonly inject filler to the nose bridge to
add volume to it and reconstruct it. Doing so will help disguising any humps on
the nose as well as most irregularities in the nose shape. When the filler is
injected skillfully, the added volume in the bridge area can also generate some
lift at the tip of the nose, pulling it upward and this effect might help
achieve the results you are looking for to some extent, but again it is hard to
say for sure without seeing you and examining your face, so please make sure to
work with a highly experienced physician. I  personally love Voluma for non-surgical nose

Hi and thanks for your question. Fillers are designed to correct small irregularities along the nasal bridge usually depressions from a prior rhinoplasty. If you dislike the appearance of your tip and feel it's too large then fillers will only accentuate this issue. In addition, fillers are temporary. See experienced rhinoplasty surgeons in your area for a consultation and advice. After decades performing this procedure that's my best advice. I hope you find the web reference below helpful. Thanks for the great question. Because the filler is being injected into the nose, more volume is actually being added to the nose, making it a little bigger. That being said, you are able to use the filler to produce optical illusions so even though the nose has more volume in it, it actually appears to be smaller. There is no way to tell if you would benefit from this without an in person consultation. I recommend finding someone in your area with experience injecting the most. Best of luck!~Dr. Sieber
