Based on your photos, it appears that filler was placed quite high on your face, in between your eyebrows. If you had HA filler, this tend to hold on to water, and can remain swollen for some time. The other possibility may be to consult your doctor about utilizing the dissolving enzyme in the area where your puffy, in between your eyebrows. Wishing you well moving forward. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
Hi and thanks for your question. It looks like you may have a bit too much injected into the upper bridge of your nose. I would give it 3 or 4 days and go back to the doctor who injected you if it is still there. Assuming your injector used a hyaluronic acid filler, it should be no problem to dissolve part of it with hyaluronidase. It is also possible that this is due to swelling and will go down so that after 4 days your nose may look good. Hope that helps. If you have any questions, feel free to call our office - my clinic is a referral center for Non Surgical Rhinoplasty and I perform the procedure several times per day.
Dear Milica001,Swelling after fillers can be normal and can last up to two weeks. If after this time, you still have some swelling, than I would recommend seeing your doctor for an exam and possibly have it dissolved. Best regards,Nima Shemirani
Dear milica001,you should wait for the swelling to resolve (it can take up to a few weeks). If it starts to grow then it might indicate a problem. If you are unsatisfied with your results, you should visit your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MSCertified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
There can be some swelling and/or lumps after injections which can last 1-2 weeks. If you're unhappy with your final results you can have it reversed with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Best, Dr. Emer
Swelling is very common after the injection of filler. I always tell my clients that, in addition, they may be able to feel some lumps or bumps for about a week. If after a week there is still a bump that they don't like, then I recommend gentle heating with a laser such as the Cutera Genesis. When most fillers are heated, they can be manipulated, allowing for the smoothing of any lumps. In the rare case that doesn't work, there is an enzyme (Hyaluronidaze) that can be injected, which dissolves the filler.Best of luck to you.
Since your nose is attached to your cheeks, when your cheeks elevate with smiling, this causes dilation of the base of the nose in everybody. If this is your only concern about your nose, I do not believe there is any non-surgical intervention to consider. Thank you for this question. Sincerely,...
If it did, rhinoplasty surgeons would have a lot less work! Time is right for you, consider meeting with several reputable rhinoplasty specialists so you can see what to expect after surgery. Thank you for this question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
In general, fillers may be considered for camouflaging A small bump, or for filling in an indentation. They may also be useful for lowering a retracted nostril margin. I do not think it would be beneficial for increasing the width of your nasal base. Thank you for this question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
