Which is the best filler for these so-called smokers’ lines? (never smoked).

Restylane silk or Belotero are thinner more delicate fillers for the fine lines around the mouth and look so natural and is easy to get. Get that pretty mouth back.

There is not one filler that is "best" for upper lip smokers lines. If you want a permanent improvement, I would recommend resurfacing with a medium depth chemical peel, micorneedling or CO2 laser resurfacing. Fillers placed in the skin of the upper lip tend to resorb quickly. The lip border and natural anatomy of the lip can be improved and restored with fillers such as Volbella and Restylane.. 

This can be improved with a combination of fillers (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) and Botox. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

My preferred filler for the perioral lines and for improving definition of the vermillion border is Restylane Silk. Juvederm Volbella and Belotero Balance could be used as well. 

I find that hyaluronic acid fillers tend to be the best for this area.  I always recommend a consultation to make sure you are a candidate for this treatment and for your doctor to determine the best products for you.  Some of my favorites in this area are Juvederm Ultra and Restylane Silk.  When addressing the vertical lip lines you may have bruising and/or swelling post treatment.  When using filler in this area, the results tend to last 9-12 months.  Done well, you can expect a very nice, natural improvement of both the vertical lip lines and the vermillion border as well.

This is actually quite a difficult area to treat with satisfying results, and should only be attempted by experienced injectors, as there is a small risk of the filler being visible under the skin. The best place to start is along the vermillion border (the line along the lip and the skin) to give some more volume to the lip border, and only then under the wrinkles themselves. Massage after treatment is very important to minimise the chances of lumpiness. You can also combine this treatment with small doses of anti-wrinkle injections to the orbicularis orbis muscle. This is the muscle which causes the lips to pucker, so small doses of anti-wrinkle injections can minimise the appearance of movement lines in the area.

For the lip area that you are describing, my favorite filler is Volbella. It is very specific and conservative. For lip enlargement as well, I like the Juvaderm Ultra and Plus. We are also using PDO threads for this area for about the same price point with a very natural result.
