This is tough to answer without before and after pictures and needs an in-person evaluation. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction revision. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned and even result. Very difficult to say if it was surgeon or your weight gain.  Given you are 6 months out, things really wont change for the better either.My recommendation is to seek out the opinion and exam of a board certified plastic surgeon in your area.Good luck.

Thank you for you question and photo.  It would be helpful to have a before photo as well.  I always tell patients the most common complication after liposuction is lumps or bumps in areas.  It can usually be fixed easily in the office.  I typically do not charge my patients to revise this area if I am able to do in the office.  If you no longer wish to see your current doctor expect a fee similar to your original surgery fee. You may want to re-discuss with your surgeon again.Best Wishes!

Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, it is difficult to tell exactly what you are referring to and how to address it with a photo alone. An in-person consultation is required to make such a determination. It is often necessary to perform revisions of areas that have been subjected to liposuction. What is required depends on the technique previously used, the severity of the problem and your goals for body contouring as a whole. I would recommend you seek a consultation with a Plastic Surgeon. Thanks for your question as well as being honest with the world that you might have added a couple lbs. which does confuse any answer a bit. I usually advise patients that they may still be at only75% of their results at 6 months for many patients do continue to change a bit if they're being awesome taking care of themselves. Still that continued change is fairly symmetric at that point, and you do have some irregularities, especially around the belly button. That is a zone that some doctors don't seem to pay enough attention to, yet it requires more attention to get it right to avoid a donut of fat being left behind. Remember your doctor wants you to have a beautiful result also and they may be ok doing a small revision at much less expense than a brand new board certified Plastic Surgeon so be sure to hear your doctor out as you go forward. It is impossible to say from your photographs whether you added fat to an area that was inadequately liposuctioned as a result of weight gain and/or if some regions were missed.  It is quite unusual to miss a section when performing liposuction but I guess it is possible that could have happened.  Try to maintain a healthy weight for yourself and is still questioning your results seek a second opinion with an ABPS board-certified plastic surgeon.
