How long do I have to wait after laser lipo to do round two?

It can take 3-6 months for your results after laser liposuction and is recommended to wait at least 3 months. I would wait at least three months. At that point all scar tissue deposition stops. However, if you can wait longer, then the scar tissue will have time to soften, which will make the second procedure easier to perform.

I would wait a minimum of three months before having liposuction for the second time.  Six months would be even better.  In the meantime, work on diet and exercise to get the best possible results. Good luck.

Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  You can have your arms performed at either the same time as your initial abdomen liposuction or certainly within weeks of this treatment.  Most revision procedures involving the same area of liposuction benefit from at least six months in-between treatments as this allows the tissues time to return to their former softness and pliability.  Waiting allows for a more reliable result and outcome.  Hope this helps. 

When we're re-doing the SAME area, I prefer to wait 6 months or more.  If the second round is for another area, one has to wait only until recovered from the acute surgery typically 2-3 weeks for young healthy people is adequate in my experience.  Be sure to ask your own surgeon about the nuances.  Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. Depending upon how many areas and what type of anesthesia, will determine when you can go back for round two. I have done them under local and sometimes stage them two weeks apart if all is healing well.

i recommend about 3 months between surgeries on different body areas. you also need to be fully recovered and back to your normal energy level for activities. if you are doing the same area for lipo, i would wait at least 6 months.
