10 weeks post liposuction, Is this excess fat or edema? (Photos)

Question

I had my first experience with Ultrasound assisted liposuction in June 2016. The contouring wasn't great and my surgeon suggested a revision which I had December 5th. So I am approximately 10 weeks out and this is what I look like. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Is this excess fat or edema? I still have major edema in the pubic area so I'm hoping this will resolve. What's wrong with me, I left the office with a beautiful flat stomach!

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph.  Without an in-person examination it is difficult to render definite advice as the area of concern may be swelling, a contour irregularity, excess adipose tissue or a discrete fluid collection. I would visit your surgeon to voice your concern, they can diagnose the cause and provide treatment or reassurance as needed.
