Rock hard lower abdomen after liposuction, why?

At two weeks, it is normal to feel some lumps and bumps after liposuction. These firm areas tend to soften with time. You are also swollen so best to give your body adequate time to heal. I typically advise my patients to wait a good 4-6 months to see their final shape to allow all the swelling to resolve. I have also found that treatments with Venus Legacy RadioFrequency help soften the firm areas and help the skin "shrink" back a bit quicker so you may want to look into that to help get the best possible results. Thank you for your question. Photos would of been helpful. My advice to you is be patient, you are only a few weeks post op. You have lots of swelling right now. It can take several months before you see final results. Wear your garment and consider lymphatic massage. Good luck. DrMaz 

There can be swelling and firmness after your procedure which can last 3-6 months. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance.
