Is it normal to have puffy on one side of lower abdomen and the other side be flat 7 days post lipo?

So I just had lipo of the abdomen and back. I understand there will be areas that are lumpy post lipo but on my lower abdomen on the left side it's really puffy either swollen or there's still fat? and the right side is pretty flat Like there is nothing underneath the skin. The left side feels tender so is that typical of post lipo swelling? Or is this a permanent damage and the ps took out more fat on left side than the right side?

Yes, there can be some asymmetrical swelling and tenderness after your procedure which can last 3-6 months. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. At just 7 days, you are quite early to be judging your look. Give your body some time to heal. If you are concerned about uneven swelling (which can be common in the recovery phase) or having pain, please talk to your doctor immediately.

Thank you for your question. It is common to have swelling after lipo and can be different from sites and sides. It is very early to know. I recommend you to follow instructions from your PS and re evaluate in 3 months.
