I would like to get Fraxil. My PS asked me to wait until after my facelift. I'm at 4 weeks post op. Recovery has gone great with no complications. However, I'm still numb around my ears, cheeks, and under my chin. My PS said this will return to normal. How long does this usually take?

Answer: Wait a Bit for Fraxel & Feeling Although it's normal to be concerned, numbness after a facelift is both temporary and typical. It may take up to a year before you completely regain sensation in the affected areas. Fraxel and other laser procedures are popular among facelift patients, but it's important to give your incisions at least 6 months to heal before you pursue this treatment. Laser treatments I hope this cleared up your questions!
