I have hooded eyes, but 50% of the times, they go away when i take naphcon A. I know i cannot take it forever. Are my hooded eyes caused by allergies or do i need surgery?

Answer: Hooded eyelids getting better when I take Nafcon-A Full set of facial and eyelid photographs are required to make a determination between ptosis and purely hooded eyelids. Each one of these issues are treated differently with surgery.

Answer: Hooded eyelids Hi and thanks for your question. It would really be helpful to see some photos to give you an idea of what is going on with your upper eyelids. In general, hooded upper eyelids are not usually due to allergies or other medical conditions. If the excess upper eyelid skin is significant and not medically induced then a simple office procedure can remove the excess skin and create a very attractive upper eyelid crease.
