The state of the art treatment for this would be under eye hyaluronic acid filler service. My strong, strong preference for this is Restylane for this location. Avoid the so-called smooth fillers like Juvederm, Restylane Silk, Belotero as they are runny and tend to accumulate below the under eye circle - a bad thing. Restylane stays were it is placed. That also puts a premium on sculpting skill. The average injector has trouble with this product and where it is injected so you really need to do your homework to find the right injector. You will pay a premium for a top injector. In my opinion, it is well worth it. At your age, this service will last well over a year.
Hi and thank you for your question! You have beautiful face and skin and at your age, I would be more focused on preventive measures - healthy diet and life style and ample sun protection. Some people tend to have more pronounced dark circles under the eyes and it can be seen even at very young age. At any time if it starts bothering you, it can be fixed by skillful injection of a bit of hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane Silk or Belotero under the eyes. Also for very fine lines under the eyes you can use eye creams (e.g. those containing retinol which helps with reducing fine lines). I hope it helps and good luck!
Thank you for your question and sharing your photo. Loss of volume to the tear trough (under eye area) occurs with aging (decrease in fat pads, muscle, and bone) and can also be attributed to genetics. Fine lines tend to appear with repeated muscle movement and loss of skin elasticity and collagen. Fortunately, there are several non-surgical options to help treat this common area of concern. To address fine lines/crows feet (lines at the corners of your eyes when smiling or squinting), a small amount of botox can be injected into the obicularis oculi muscle (surrounding eye) to restrict your muscle movement and prevent the lines from becoming etched in. Resurfacing lasers (i.e. fraxel or Clear and Brilliant) can also help treat fine lines and stimulate your body's natural collagen production. For the sunken appearance to the tear trough, dermal fillers can be used to help replace volume. In my practice, I specifically prepare Juvederm for injection into the tear troughs. This preparation provides the most natural looking appearance and has a duration of 2 - 6 years. Most importantly, it can be easily dissolved with an enzyme, making it a safe option. In my office, this is a two stage procedure, with a touch-up visit 2-3 weeks after the initial one. Make sure to seek out an expert injector for your care. Best of luck!
A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer
You appear to be a good candidate for under eye filler injection which although temporary, they can have some last-lasting effect too. See following link and video.
In my opinion a PRP under-eye rejuvenation with tear trough injection would be an excellent option for you to consider although you may require several treatments for an optimum cosmetic result. It is also likely that you will require some additional "maintenance" treatments annually to maintain the result that you want.
Thank you for the photo. You do have hollowing of the area below your eyes which are accentuating your tear troughs. A quick and simple solution would be to have hyaluronic acid fillers to these areas. Although there are many over the counter creams and masks that say they can improve the appearance of your eyes, none of them will actually fill in the hollowness which is creating your look. If you do not wish to have surgery or injections, conservative use of make-up can also improve the appearance of that area as well. Hope this helps!
You are very young, pretty, and have beautiful healthy looking skin. The depression underneath your eyelid is inherited and not a great cause for concern, it is not bad. As you grow older the only permanent effective method to plump a depression in the tear trough region is an arcus marginalis release with fat grafting which is described in the Link below:
Thank you for asking the question. If you undergo a surgical double-eyelid surgery then it is a permanent procedure. The other technique where it is don’t non-surgically using sutures is a very temporary procedure. Good luck!Regards, Dr. Amit Gupta
Thanks for your question and photos! It is important to remember that every patient's recovery will take a trajectory as unique as your own body, along with its unique features and any associated health issues. The eyelid surgery you had was a upper eyelid blepharoplasty, sometimes...
Your brows appear very low in your photographs. A blepharoplasty will lower the eyebrows even more, and produce a closed-in look. I would recommend a direct brow lift, and a conservative blepharoplasty. A combination of brow lift and blepharoplasty would give a superior and more natural...
