how can i stop this from happening with no cosmetic surgery.
Answer: You have a small under eye circle. The state of the art treatment for this would be under eye hyaluronic acid filler service. My strong, strong preference for this is Restylane for this location. Avoid the so-called smooth fillers like Juvederm, Restylane Silk, Belotero as they are runny and tend to accumulate below the under eye circle - a bad thing. Restylane stays were it is placed. That also puts a premium on sculpting skill. The average injector has trouble with this product and where it is injected so you really need to do your homework to find the right injector. You will pay a premium for a top injector. In my opinion, it is well worth it. At your age, this service will last well over a year.

Answer: Deep Tear Trough and Fine Lines under the Eyes Hi and thank you for your question! You have beautiful face and skin and at your age, I would be more focused on preventive measures - healthy diet and life style and ample sun protection. Some people tend to have more pronounced dark circles under the eyes and it can be seen even at very young age. At any time if it starts bothering you, it can be fixed by skillful injection of a bit of hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane Silk or Belotero under the eyes. Also for very fine lines under the eyes you can use eye creams (e.g. those containing retinol which helps with reducing fine lines). I hope it helps and good luck!

Answer: Under eyes Thank you for your question and sharing your photo. Loss of volume to the tear trough (under eye area) occurs with aging (decrease in fat pads, muscle, and bone) and can also be attributed to genetics. Fine lines tend to appear with repeated muscle movement and loss of skin elasticity and collagen. Fortunately, there are several non-surgical options to help treat this common area of concern. To address fine lines/crows feet (lines at the corners of your eyes when smiling or squinting), a small amount of botox can be injected into the obicularis oculi muscle (surrounding eye) to restrict your muscle movement and prevent the lines from becoming etched in. Resurfacing lasers (i.e. fraxel or Clear and Brilliant) can also help treat fine lines and stimulate your body's natural collagen production. For the sunken appearance to the tear trough, dermal fillers can be used to help replace volume. In my practice, I specifically prepare Juvederm for injection into the tear troughs. This preparation provides the most natural looking appearance and has a duration of 2 - 6 years. Most importantly, it can be easily dissolved with an enzyme, making it a safe option. In my office, this is a two stage procedure, with a touch-up visit 2-3 weeks after the initial one. Make sure to seek out an expert injector for your care. Best of luck!

Answer: Improving Under Eye -- Fillers (Belotero, Volbella, Restylane Silk), Fraxel, Microneedling/PRP A combination approach will give the most improvement. Fillers, lasers, and microneedling/PRP can improve under the eyes. My patients try to get non surgical treatments to avoid surgery. We use PRP and stem cells there often. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for your short and long term goals. Best, Dr. Emer
