I've read a lot about chin lipo on Real Self and am thankful for the feedback and information! Based on what I've learned, I'm still wondering whether it makes more sense to go with a plastic surgeon (board certified, of course) who performs a lot of lipo on all parts of the body or to use someone who specializes in faces and may do less lipo? It's important to know the anatomy of face and neck but for best results wouldn't I want someone who performs lipo more frequently? Thank you in advance!

Answer: Chin Liposuction Doctor It seems to me that you are spending too much mental energy on this. If you want you chin/neck area suctioned, then I would see a doctor who has done a lot of procedures, but that doesn't have to be the ONLY thing they do. Make sure they are board certified and that they can show you results of patients who look very much like you. If you like the results, then you are probably fine.Good Luck!

Answer: Facial Plastic Surgeon or Plastic Surgeon for chin liposuction ? You want to choose a surgeon that is board certified in the area of specialty, as you mentioned. Either specialty's training provides exposure to neck liposuction procedures. The key is to find a surgeon who performs alot of chin/ neck liposuction in their practice and creates results that look good to your eye. I hope this information is helpful for you.Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon
