No kids or plan to in future. 5’5, currently 186lbs. HW was 222lbs in Oct 2017. I have been fluctuating. May 2018 I was 180lbs then up to 200lbs from then & lost weight in Nov 2018. I ideally want to be 130-150lbs considering my height. I have seem to hit a plateau. I want a breast lift/aug, lipo 360, lipo on chin, arms, & thighs, a bbl + tummy tuck. Am I a good candidate for a TT? I want a flat stomach. Will excessive lipo give me that? Will my skin bounce back or would I have excess skin?
Answer: Candidate excess skin Thank you for your question. I highly recommend you to send pictures but even better is to have an in person consultation specially because your case has to be carefully evaluated because of the fat that has many possibilities to evaluate before you make that decision

Answer: Weight loss surgery Congratulations on the weight loas. Most commonly women on your situation want either a breast lift a tummy tuck or both. Liposuction can also be done st the same time but you may want to do the procedures in two stages for safety concern. Do not get a bbl. terrible procedure with terrible and dangerous complications.

Answer: Am I a candidate for a tummy tuck? 22 years old, no kids. Weight loss and exercise can only go so far, but reaching your weight goal objective prior to surgery would decrease the risks for complications during and after surgery and enhance the TT results. The most common indications for a TT are loose abdominal skin, especially in the lower abdomen and loose abdominal wall muscles. Stretched out skin that has lost its elasticity can only be improved with removal of this excess skin. Liposuction will allow you to have stubborn fat resistant to exercise and diet removed from unwanted areas (hips, stomach, thighs, back) and transferred to areas that can benefit from the added volume and will result in a waist as small as possible. Liposuction results are highly surgeon dependent as the skill of liposuction rests in removing as much fat as possible while leaving the skin smooth.

Answer: Tummy tuck age 22? Really cannot offer meaningful advice without seeing your body and better understanding your situation and goals. It sounds like a lower stable weight is what you really want first, and that is easier to achieve than ever before: you CAN do it. Then, if you get to your 130-150 and stay there for a while (education is the best medication), decide if you still want all of those changes.

Answer: Tummy tuck candidate Dear ohhswackz, generally speaking, you want to reach your goal weight before you consider a tummy tuck, otherwise your results will be suboptimal if you continue to lose weight after the surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
