Can I get a Rhinoplasty if I have epilepsy?

I take keppra everyday 1 in a half in the morning and 1 in the night and the - milligrams Are 1,000 but I been wanting to get a nose job and I’m concerned if I’ll be able to get one

Great question!  You would need to get a medical clearance from your internet and your neurologist to undergo general anesthesia.  As long as they say you are safe, then you should be good to go, so the ultimate decision will be up to them since they are the ones treating you for this issue.Best of luck and hope this information helps!

Assuming that your seizures are controlled on medication, then it is likely. However, you will need to obtain clearance to proceed with general anesthesia and surgery from the neurologist who treats your seizures and prescribes your anti-seizure medication. So, prior to having a consultation with a Plastic Surgeon, I would recommend discussing this with your neurologist and asking about clearance for surgery. Best of luck.

it is unusual to have a seizure while under anesthesia because the medications will block a seizure.  Other factors need to be considered as well such as whether your seizures are under good control and not a bad idea to check this with your neurologist to be on the safe side.
