My nose is messed up and I just wanted to know how bad it is and the procedure I would need? (photos)

Thank you for your question. You seem to have a very thick skin. Thick skinned patients can also have a rhinoplasty but the process needs more control and may require extra treatment before and after the surgery. The aim is to make the skin thinner. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty which can be performed by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. This can be designed to help improve your nasal symmetry.  Cost varies based on geographic region and surgeon expertise.  Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system.  You should be able to view numerous pictures of actual patients with noses similar to yours performed by your surgeon.  If you cannot find enough real before and after pictures, then consider continuing your search for a surgeon.

A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish narrowing and refining the nasal tip cartilages, narrowing the bridge and shaving down the dorsal hump. Thick skin prevents refinement in the nasal tip, so it's important to have realistic expectations.
