I am working on arm strength training but it would help if arm skin was more responsive. I’ve done microneedling and other skin rejuvenation procedures on the face which have helped tighten skin. What about arms?

Answer: Skin tightening in the arms Hi ctonra:Generally, what works on the face will work on the arms. To some extent, your choice of procedure will depend upon the degree of laxity and whether there is excess fat as well. If you have excess fat, you would want to have CoolSculpting and follow that with a procedure to tighten the skin, or ThermiTight to tighten the skin with additional passes directed to the deeper layers to eliminate fat as well. Other noninvasive options to tighten the arms include PelleFirm and ThermiSmooth, which are completely noninvasive and without downtime although somewhat less dramatic in their results. Although I believe Microneedling with PRP would improve the skin texture, wrinkling, and elasticity, helping to prevent looseness from worsening, I am a bit dubious that it would reverse existing laxity of the underside of the arms.Hoping this is helpful, Dr. Clark
