Can I just always wear a wireless bra or bralette after a reduction/lift?

There may still be some slight shifting and changing for about six months. At this point you might safely go on a lingerie shopping spree with a professional bra fitter.

I recommend my patients use some type of supportive bra at all times even after a breast reduction or lift.

I typically advise my patients at 6 weeks to get a good fitting bra that will give them the support needed, especially when they start working out. Remember that gravity always wins so the more support you have, the better your results will be long term. Good luck!!

Dear ky891,every surgeon has a preferred type of bra that they let their patients wear after breast augmentation, as this would depend on various factors like the type of surgery performed and the size of the implant used. Thank you for your question.  I recommend discussing with your plastic surgeon which support garment is appropriate for you.  Bring them into the office so s/he can see how it fits you.  In terms of support, many patients often find that the breasts are so perky that they don't even wear any garment at all!  In the short term, there shouldn't be any effect on your overall result.  Unfortunately, stretch, gravity, and pregnancy (for some!) will have an effect on your body and eventually change the appearance of your breasts, but this may not be noticeable for decades. 

Hello and thanks for your questions.  At this point after your surgery, bra use is not exactly related to longevity of your lift result - wear whichever bra you are most comfortable wearing that gives you adequate support for your level of activity.  Likely after 3 months, you will not lose an additional entire cup size when your swelling completely resolves.  You are very likely at 85-90+% of your final result.
