I had right breast lumpectomy and 12 lymph nodes removed and 35 radiation treatments. I developed Lymphedema in my right arm after treatment. Now I am scheduled to have breast reduction surgery on my left side to match my now smaller right breast but I have read that you can get lymphedema even if no nodes are removed. My surgeon does not feel there is a risk

At this stage of your post operative recovery you should not be experiencing significant pain or discomfort. Nerves that are healing typically feel like a tingling sensation or itch. Best to return to your surgeon for a review if you are concerned.
