Is this sharp pain on left side nerve related at 18 days post-op?

It certainly sounds like you are having nerve pains.  Usually nerve pains are those that have sharp pains with or without hypersensitivity.  The pains are periodic and come and go.  It will only improve in time and the duration between the pain episodes will get longer.Given that I am not examining you, I would still recommend you get in touch with your doctor to make certain everything is going well.Hope that helps.

At this stage of your post operative recovery you should not be experiencing significant pain or discomfort.  Nerves that are healing typically feel like a tingling sensation or itch.  Best to return to your surgeon for a review if you are concerned.

It seems to me that you’re only experiencing the sharp pain when you’re exerting yourself. To be honest, I don’t think it’s simply nerve reawakening; it shouldn’t be sharp and searing.
Please consult your reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon and have yourself physically checked just to be sure.
