Hi Marie.  For the area between the eyes, we typically dose patients between 50-60 units and would have suggested 60 for you.  This is based on the goal of achieving 3-4 months duration for the product.  It is normal for the injected muscles to "wake up" slowly over time as you show in your photos, but the ability to contract the muscles in this area should be severely limited at 4 weeks.Also, the lighting appears to be ever so slightly different between the photos, which may affect how you see the lines. As a preliminary recommendation, we would recommend a higher does for you.  

It may be that additional Dysport or a combination of Dysport with lasers, microneedling/prp and fillers is needed to get your desired results. Dysport results resolve in 3-4 months. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Your treatment dosing was too conservative to treat those areas which may have contributed to the results not lasting longer. It's important to remember that Dysport units are not equal to Botox units. An approximate relation is three units of Dysport equates to one unit of Botox.

The glabella area typically needs more than the does you received. 50-60 units is a standard dose in the glabella area. Some patients can metabolize the products quicker than others if they work out a lot so that's something you should be aware of. You should go back to your injector and see what she recommends.

Thank you for your question. On Average Dysport results last 3-6 months and a typical dose for the glabella region is 60 units. Since you had a lower dose of 33 units your results may wear off quicker and you may require a touch up of Dysport to see optimal results. That is a relatively low dose of Dysport when it comes to treating the forehead and frown lines. I typically recommend around 60-90 units Dysport when treating both areas. Lower doses usually lead to shortened longevity. I would followup with your injector and discuss your results and dosing. Dysport results should last 3-4 months. 

Thank you for your question. It sounds as though you were treated with a sub-therapeutic dose of Dysport. A good starting dose for the glabella (11's) is 50 to 60 units. If you had 33 units for the frown lines and some of the forehead, you did not receive enough units to adequately treat the area.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
