During the 4-6 hours after Dysport or Botox injections, will tilting my head downward or upward increase risk of migration?

Subtle movement of the head would not cause the Dysport to migrate. The recommendation is directed more toward laying down within the first four hours after injections, or working out, etc. See your injector for other post treatment instructions.

Moving your head around in a normal way should not effect on your treatment.  As a general precaution, I usually recommend my patients refrain from any extra activity for 4 hours following Dysport or Botox injections and avoid strenuous activity for at least 24 hours, but casual activities would be fine.

The injection of Botox or Dysport is placed either in a muscle or in the fat just below the skin. Once injected simple tilting of you head will not make the injection move to undesired areas. That can happen if you rub or press the injection site.

Once injected, Botox (or Dysport, Xeomin) binds quickly to the muscle.  It is very unlikely to move.  It is fine to place your head in any position after your treatment.
