What is the average length of time before one should require a touchup for Dysport and Restalyne?

Dysport should be done every 3-4 months on average. As for the Restylane, its longevity depends on the area in which the product was injected. Restylane placed in the tear troughs typically lasts at least one year. Restylane in the nasolabial folds (or the lines between the nose and mouth) will need to be reinjected between 9 months and a year. Thanks for your question. With Dysport you will see what your results will be after 1 week post-injection. You can schedule for a touch up after a 7-10 days after your original injection. With Restalyne or any filler you should probably wait 10-14 days for all swelling to go down and then go for a touch up if you need one. Hope this helps, good luck! 

Dysport injections last about 2-3 months. Restylane lasts about 6-8 months.It's good to stay on top of your injections and not letting too much time pass so you don't have to start all over again.

There are several different Restylane products (Restylane-L, Lyft, Silk, Refyne and Defyne). The duration of effect is going to vary depending on the product selected and the area injected. Areas with high levels of movement such as around the mouth and in the lips typically last less time (perhaps 6 months) than more stationary areas such as the upper cheek.
