BBL...Does the butt stay hard after swelling is gone or does it depend on where the fat is taken from?

Thank you for your question.After swelling is gone the butt doesn't stay hard. After about two weeks the butt starts feeling more natural and softer. As far as how tight it eventually stays will depend on the amount of grafting done and the amount of fat that is not reabsorbed as well as the patients skin. The buttocks will soften after the swelling resolves.There is a small risk of the fat cells dying and causing lumps to form.I recommend that you see your surgeon to make sure you’re experiencing normal swelling.

The butt will start to soften as swelling subsides.  Approximately after about 2 weeks, the butt starts to feel more natural.  The fat that took during the procedure is not reabsorbed.

Thanks for your question. The swelling/bruising can last up to 2 weeks. Most of my patients are able to return to work in one week after the procedure.

The buttocks usually soften up a bit as the swelling subsides.  Best of luck with your results from a BBL.

The butt will soften but still remain good shape after a BBL.  The fat that lives and is not resorbed will just become part of your "new" butt.  Best wishes.
