Thank you for your question.After swelling is gone the butt doesn't stay hard. After about two weeks the butt starts feeling more natural and softer. As far as how tight it eventually stays will depend on the amount of grafting done and the amount of fat that is not reabsorbed as well as the patients skin. Patients with excess skin or flabby skin will not have the same result as patients with tighter skin.Hope this helps.Best wishes,Dr. Miguel Mota

The buttocks will soften after the swelling resolves.There is a small risk of the fat cells dying and causing lumps to form.I recommend that you see your surgeon to make sure you’re experiencing normal swelling.

The butt will start to soften as swelling subsides.  Approximately after about 2 weeks, the butt starts to feel more natural.  The fat that took during the procedure is not reabsorbed.

Thanks for your question. The swelling/bruising can last up to 2 weeks. Most of my patients are able to return to work in one week after the procedure.
