Thank you for your question. After swelling is gone the butt doesn't stay hard. After about two weeks the butt starts feeling more natural and softer. As far as how tight it eventually stays will depend on the amount of grafting done and the amount of fat that is not reabsorbed as well as the patients skin. Patients with excess skin or flabby skin will not have the same result as patients with tighter skin.Hope this helps.Best wishes,Dr. Miguel Mota
The buttocks will soften after the swelling resolves. There is a small risk of the fat cells dying and causing lumps to form.I recommend that you see your surgeon to make sure you’re experiencing normal swelling.
I appreciate your question. The butt will start to soften as swelling subsides. Approximately after about 2 weeks, the butt starts to feel more natural. The fat that took during the procedure is not reabsorbed. The best way to assess and givetrue advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certifiedplastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.Best of luck!Dr. Schwartz
Thanks for your question. The swelling/bruising can last up to 2 weeks. Most of my patients are able to return to work in one week after the procedure.
The buttocks usually soften up a bit as the swelling subsides. Best of luck with your results from a BBL.
The butt will soften but still remain good shape after a BBL. The fat that lives and is not resorbed will just become part of your "new" butt. Best wishes.
Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. I recommend my patients to allow 2-4 weeks for recovery, and to wait at least 7-10 days before going back to work, but each doctor has their own protocol. I also recommend not to sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours,...
This is best determined by an examination.Sometimes people can have really hard lumpsafter silicone buttock injections. You can feel and see them a little bit more after a Brazilian Butt Lift with fat transfer, so it can be an issue but it really depends on the examination. It is best to...
Hello dear!! Thank you for the question and provided information as well. The healing process could take up to 6 months to a year, depending on the patient. The inflammation and bruising could last months. If you have any concerns, I suggest you follow up with your plastic surgeon. Be patient,...
A couple of items you should consider. 1st only about 40% of the fat removed from liposuction could be transferred in volume as fat graft cells following processing of the fat cells; 2nd only 3,000 to 5,000 cc of liposuction can be safely performed safely. If you do the math, this means that...

Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Your BMI is within the recommended range, but unfortunately, without pictures, it is very difficult to give you a proper answer. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic...
