Liposuction is a good procedure to help reduce your mons pubis under local and you can drive yourself home afterwards and be back to work in 2 days.

I think you need both liposuction and a lift.  Liposuction alone won't be enough. It is really useful to reduce the mons so it doesn't show through in clothing etc.

A prominent mons pubis can be distracting in clothing. Before undergoing any type of elective surgery, it is important to have medical clearance from your physician and to be at a stable, healthier weight. This will reduce your rate of serious complications as well as help give you optimal results. Your surgical options include liposuction to reduce the general size of the area. For significantly more dramatic results, you would need a surgical lift in that area which removes skin and fat and possibly also need a tummy tuck or panniculectomy to help remove the excess tissue above to smooth the junction at your waist. This area can be reduced in size by liposuction. Your BMI needs to be preferably reduced before undergoing any surgery. Once the superficial fat is reduced from this area, you will more than likely be left with loose skin.

The fat in the area is due to having such a high BMI. Liposuction will help but you may need a lift if the skin is too loose, often the case after weight gain.
