3 days post op Pain and cramping in left leg after Lipo gets worst. Any suggestions?

I wear my garment aND stockings as suggested by my PS...there is a sharp pain that starts from the back of my left thigh to the joining of the knee. There is no pain or tenderness from the calf down...I can hardly put pressure on that foot and it is extremely painful when touched..I've also been running a temperature that doesn't exceed 100.8 .d Does this seem normal?

I am not sure what you mean by this question but you can combine non invasive options to get better results than an individual treatment.  In my practice we do liposuction and immediately start non invasive options.  Best, Dr. Emer.

It sounds as if the wound will heal on its own or needs silicone based scar gel.  Please speak to your physician.  Any abnormal pain, open wounds or drainage needs to be assessed.  Best, Dr. Emer.

 Thank you for your question. Compression garments are really based on preference for each surgeon. We tend to use garments rather than a straps because they're more comfortable and easier to use and maneuver on a daily basis after surgery. If you are thin already, 1 L can be a lot.  If you are not, it may be very little removed.  Its all subjective to your starting point.  VASER HI DEF gives much larger amounts of removal and contouring.  Best, Dr. Emer.
