On December 2nd I had 50 units of Dysport injected in between my eyebrows and 1 syringe of Restalyne under my eyes and in nasolabial folds. My dermatologist didn't want to inject more than this because I'm only 25. It's now early April and I feel like it's starting to wear off. In early march I was told that before I got more dysport I had to wait until I had full range of motion in that area and although my eyes are holding up well, my smile lines are looking noticeable again.

Answer: How long do I need to wait between Neurotoxin treatments? Thank you for your question! Generally, Botox/Dysport lasts 3 to 4 months. Depending on your activity level and how quickly your body metabolizes the product, some patient may require treatment more frequently. It is not necessary to wait until you have full movement back before proceeding with an additional treatment. In fact, most patients like to schedule their appointments strategically prior to getting back to baseline, in order to maintain their results.

Answer: Timing for fillers or botox/ dysport Generally, it is best to wait at least 2 weeks after injection with fillers or neuromodulators before seeking retreatment. However, there is no need to wait until full motion is back or the filler has completely dissolved before treatment. In fact, the opposite is true; we find that earlier treatment leads to longer lasting results with filler. Retreatment before full movement is restored with botox or dysport is the ideal time (usually 4ish months). Best of luck.
