It can take up to 2 weeks to see the full results from Dysport.  Follow up with your injector at 2 weeks for an evaluation. You may need a touch up with Dysport.  Because Dysport relaxes the muscles, repeated treatments 3-4 months apart will also help soften these lines over time.  Filler can also be used to fill in deeper wrinkles, but there are additional risks with this procedure.  Best Wishes,

It takes 1-2 weeks for final results with Botox. I would wait a full two weeks before assessing results. However, additional Botox or a combination of fillers, lasers and microneedling/prp may be needed to get your desired results. Best, Dr. Emer

If you are still able to animate and furrow your brow then a touch up of Dysport may help improve your result. If you are not able to furrow the brow but the 11's are still present further product will not help. Visit with your injector for an evaluation.

There are many reasons why the effect of Dysport may not seem to last long or not show any significant effect. This could be either to less than an optimal number of units, improper injection, or if fewer units were injected than what was actually purchased. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.

Neuromodulators like Botox and Dysport work on dynamic lines and wrinkles. It can take up to 14 days to see the full effects of Botox/Dysport treatment. In some cases, a patient may have developed static lines which are present as rest. These will usually improve with multiple Botox/Dysport treatments. A filler may help with these static lines as can microneedling and good skincare (retinol). 

In some patients the 11 lines are "static" meaning they are still present even when the muscle is relaxed. That said the skin will work to soften those lines in time, I recommend at least 3 consecutive rounds of Dysport tp really have them soften or hopefully resolve.Filler can be used in that area but it has a risk since small arteries are in the 11 area and obstruction of them can cause blindness so if you decide to to filler make sure to go to an expert injector.

Thanks for your question. Every patient is unique and may require different amounts of product to achieve desired results. In my practice I generally use 50-60 units for this area but I have each patient animate so I can evaluate the movement in this area to figure out how much is needed. I always tell patients if they have any concerns to follow up after about 2 weeks as this should be adequate time to fully set in. You may want to follow up with your injector to ensure a few more units wouldn’t get you to your desired results. Sometimes one area of the muscle may not have been fully treated so a lot of the movement is down but you still have a little activation that allows you to make this area move more than desired and it only requires a little more product. Hello! We tell our clients to wait a full 2 weeks to take effect and then follow up if needed, as you may need a touch up.  If this is your first treatment with Dysport, it may take a few treatments to see more noticeable results.  It took many years for the 11's to get there, so it may take a couple treatments for them to go away. Best of Luck! 

You should follow up with your injector at 2 weeks to see if you will need a few more units if you still have a lot of movement.
