Swelling/redness weeks after Dysport on my forehead and between my eyebrows.

I had gotten dysport on my forehead and between my eyebrows during the last week of Februaury. The past week everytime I bend over the area between my brows swells up and turns red. Is this a normal side effect?

Some of the Dysport has perhaps migrated to affect surrounding muscles and affect the balance of the muscles during your smiling attempts. Fortunately, the effects are reversible, but it may take up to 3 months.

It can take up to 2 weeks to see the full results from Dysport.  Follow up with your injector at 2 weeks for an evaluation. You may need a touch up with Dysport.  Because Dysport relaxes the muscles, repeated treatments 3-4 months apart will also help soften these lines over time.  Filler can al...

Thank you for your question, Nofrown! Typically Dysport lasts around 3-4 months. Slowly you will gain your movement back little by little!

Dysport typically lasts 3-4 months.  It is difficult to determine the longevity of Dysport because of various other factors such as metabolism and activity level.  Discuss your results with your injector for any future treatments you choose to have.  Best Wishes,
