After tummy tuck and BBL, what should I expect when getting an ultrasonic massage and/or a lymphatic drainage massage?

With an ultrasonic massage what areas are they ok to go over with massager, and what areas are not ok for them to use the ultrasonic on? For lymphatic drainage massages what areas should I expect them to massage after a TT and BBL? Do they place a port or syringe IN lipo site to assist with drainage of fluids? What's OK and what's not?! The therapist I was referred to is separate from my surgeon and I don't know what to expect!

Hi. You may have lymphatic drainage massages and ultrasound anywhere "but never in your buttocks area", for this will contribute to the reabsorption of the grafted fat and a lose of volume. Typically I would not have them at work over the area of fat grafting but mostly in the area of liposuction and abdominoplasty.. Your surgeon should be able to give you specific directions based upon their techniques.We typically do scar therapy and acoustic wave therapy in the areas that need it, but we do that as part of the surgery and it is done in our office.
