I recommend following up with your practitioner about their recommendations for massage following your ultherapy treatment. It should be fine to have massage a few days after your treatment. It can take between 6-12 weeks for final results with Ultherapy. Keep in mind, a combination approach would give the most improvement with Ultherapy. I recommend Ultherapy with RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP or sculptra to get increased collagen, tightening and improve skin tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
There is no rule as to when to begin massage. After Ultherapy, your face will be somewhat tender to touch for a few days. This is most common, I find, in bony regions, such as the cheekbones and jaw line. I would recommend waiting a week, as this should be more than enough time for tenderness to resolve. Hope you have amazing results!Dr S

Dear Hourglass 37, This depends a lot on the surgeon and the patient. If the patient is recovering well and has minimum pain, i start the massages 5-7 days after surgery and recommend 10-15 sessions ( 1 session daily). You will have an easier and less painful recovery this way. Best of luck!
I do not recommend lymphatic massage as I have seen aggressive massage result in hematomas and fluid collections.
