Would alarplasty suit me? (Photo)

Reviewing your photos, it seems that your nostrils are not the problem. I would concentrate my attention on narrowing your nasal tip, which is really the main aspect of your nose that I feel is out of proportion to the rest of the nasal anatomy. On occasion, after the nasal tip is reduced, the nostrils have to be brought in. But to bring your nostrils in presently would only make your nasal tip look much bigger!

Based on your photos, an alarplasty would not be great for you. The nose is supposed to have a triangular shape to it, and bringing in your nostrils will make it more square. Be sure to discuss this with your surgeon.

Are you a candidate for a alarplasty? your nostrils are slightly white based, but your tip appears to be still quite bulbous. If you tuck the nostrils, but the tip is wide you may lose the triangular relationship between the base of the nostrils and the tip. It may become more of a rectangle from the basil view than a triangle. You can tuck the nostrils a small amount but perhaps you should consider having the tip trimmed at the same time, since the broad tip to me appears more obvious than the slightly wide nostril base.
