When I smile my nostrils stretch and flare out a lot. Also, I noticed my nose slants to one side. I've been examined for a deviated septum but was told it is straight. Can it be a collapsed nasal valve? When I breathe my nose feels pinched.

It appears that too much alar wall was removed from your left nostril, which shortened and straightened it, with a concomitant loss of curvature. It would seem that you would benefit from a composite (skin + cartilage) ear graft to lengthen it and restore the curvature as it attaches to the face.
It appears from the few posted photos that your nose is "bottom heavy". It would be interesting to see what you started with. Many times a hump reduction, with or without infracturing, will reduce some of the support to the overlying skin/soft tissue envelope. This results in laxity transferred...
