I’m 22yrs old & have these giant lines under my eyes that add a good decade to my face & make me look almost skeletal— combo of thin skin under my eyes + full cheeks. Lower blepharoplasty almost seems too invasive since I have no eye bags to correct, but I don’t know what other options I have. Have already tried dermal fillers which did little to nothing to correct the actual lines. Fat grafting? Thread lift? Cheek lipo? What is my best option here? Any suggestions appreciated.
Answer: You have a small under eye circle, Your simplest option is eye concealer. This is precisely what concealer is for. Do not get lower eyelid surgery for this. Do not fat grafting for this. Do not get laser or thread lifts for this. You will be harmed by these procedures. You could benefit from dark circle treatment with Restylane. However be warned. This is an extremely fussy service. Very few injectors you are likely to meet are capable of performing this treatment well. Do not get injected in this area with runny fillers like Belotero, Juvederm , or Voluma. Your eyes can be your best feature.

Answer: Under eye concerns From your photos and description of your concerns, the most commonly used treatment is HA fillers. Be sure that you are visiting with an experienced injector for your treatment in order to have the best results. I would not recommend surgery for you without first exploring nonsurgical options.

Answer: Undereye Weekend Lift for deep tear troughs This is a problem other young individuals have and it’s essentially the outline of the ligamentous attachments and your orbital rim. You’ve had dermal fillers before but that doesn’t mean they’ve been done properly. My Undereye Weekend Lift is a non-surgical procedure I’ve developed to help issues like yours.

Answer: Dark Circles with Restylane Hello Kara. With your age and anatomy, you are a perfect candidate for Restylane injections under the eyes. Very sorry you did not get the outcome you wanted with this procedure prior, but your results are based not on the fact that you had the procedure but based on who and how they were doing it. You need someone skilled and experienced at tear trough injections (see link). Best of luck.

Answer: Is a lower blepharoplasty my only option? Based on the posted photos why not try initially HA injections to your tear trough deformities. Expect fees in the $1,000 ranges. Doing lower lid blepharoplasty is not possible since you are NOT a candidate. Threading is a waste of time & $$$. I like nano fat grafting but easier to try HA injections first.
