You need to contact your surgeon immediately. This may well be an early infection and you need to go on antibiotics as soon as possible.

Hi There! Thank you for your question. I would recommend that you schedule a follow up with your plastic surgeon. Any time we see redness and skin that is warm to the touch our first concern would be infection and you should be seen in person to rule that out!

Hello, thank you for your question. How long ago did you have your implants placed, your scars look older. Is it unilateral redness? If this is a sudden onset, we will need to rule out infection, possible infected cyst. Difficult to say judging by the photo. If the redness and pain become worse, you will need to go to an urgent care or see your family doctor. Once infection is ruled out and this persists than we can come up with other possibilities. You did not state if recent surgery or over a few years?? But you need immediate IV antibiotics and be seen in ER
