Would less filler mean less swelling for lip injections?

Hi! I'm looking to subtlety augment my lips with a filler. However, I work 6 days a week and really don't want to show up looking like a swollen duck face. That only gives me one day of downtime. If I only get half a syringe is it less likely to swell to epic proportions (or even less, maybe 1/3) ? I figure I can always go get the second half a week or two later.
