Will 2 veneers look weird compared to all my other normal teeth?

Veneers match the colour and shape of teeth perfectly. You cannot differentiate between a natural tooth and a well done veneer at the end of treatment.

In the hands of a good cosmetic dentist and laboratory they should be finethough if you want to go a little lighter in color you can consider doing the front 4 

You should be able to obtain a very natural result with 2 veneers on your lateral incisors as long as you find an experienced and skilled dentist.  You should definitely ask to see before and after photos of patients with similar treatment.  Also, ask the dentist how much preparation or filing of your tooth is necessary to place the veneer.  Some dentists over-reduce teeth when it is not necessary, causing undue sensitivity.  There is another option that you may wish to look into.  It is based on a breakthrough in Cosmetic Dentistry and was developed by Dr. Harvey Silverman, a cosmetic dentist in the Cleveland area.  It is called ProVeneers(formerly EasySmile Veneers) and is based on a resin based foundation material that allows for a ProVeneer to be custom fabricated chairside in 1 short visit with no drilling or filing down of your teeth required. The fee is less than 1/2 of a porcelain veneer, and the results are very natural looking, not fake.  The system allows for the dentist to place a Preview Veneer, so you can see how the final result will appear, before you decide to accept treatment.  This is not possible with a porcelain veneer.  You can get information on the this new breakthrough by doing a google search for EasySmile Veneers or for Dr. Harvey Silverman.  I have been offering this procedure in my office for the past two years with great success.  One question that is frequently asked is how long these will last.  With proper maintenance and occasional touchups, these can last indefinitely.  What that means is that if there is a chip, break, or discoloration, it can be fixed in a short 10 or 15 minute visit without having to pay a replacement fee.  If any of these happen with porcelain veneers, they need to be replaced and usually the dentist will charge a  replacement fee(after a certain period of time that he may guarantee the porcelain veneer).  The reasons my patients are choosing this treatment are because they are non-invasive, less expensive, very natural looking, and they last a long time.  If your dentist is not aware or trained in this procedure, he can contact Dr. Harvey Silverman, who offers either webinar or in office training to get dentists up to speed on this exciting new advancement in cosmetic dentistry.   Either way you go, I am sure you will be very pleased and get years of happiness from your smile!
