23/f - I am considering chin implants and lipo but I would like to go the no surgery route if possible. Could filers give me a more appealing jaw line? Or botox maybe for the fleshy part that sticks out when I smile? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

You are a good candidate for injectable filler in the midface to accent your cheekbones, and filler in and around your chin and jawline to balance your facial volume. It is a bit pointy now and would be softened and feminized with just a bit of filler. Small amounts of Botox will also help the fleshy part of the chin to further enhance your profile. Make sure you work with a board-certified dermatologist and injectable expert to ensure your results are natural and meet your expectations.

A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the overall appearance of the lower face and balancing the jaw and lip harmony. We use cannula injections to meticulously contour and project the chin, soften the chin along the jawline and improve the chin crease.Implants are still a great option once you are 100% positive that you are ready for a permanent enhancement. Non-surgical treatment alone will not give you a more feminine appearance.You have a deep mentolabial fold and would benefit from a bony chin reduction with simultaneous chin tuck of the soft tissue. Cheek implants would give you a more feminine and defined cheek with a nice shape to your face. Lastly, the mandibular angles would be more defined with fillers placed in this area. Any combination of these procedures would give you a more feminine appearance. Some botox to the chin might diminish the prominence of your chin when you smile. Good luck

From the photographs presented, you do not need a chin implant because there's not a recessive chin profile present. There's very little fat in the neck, therefore liposuction will be of minimal benefit.

while your mandible is slightly small it also has appointed shape giving you a deeper labor your mental angle. This makes you not a good candidate for a chin implant. A chin implant would create an appearance sometimes called in a witches chin. Small amount of fillers in the crease of the labia mental angle might look good. You also don’t have any excess fat in your chin and neck. I would say no intervention is a good idea for you.Sometimes Accepting our heritage and what our parents gave us for everyone is the correct approach without manipulating who we are.I simply don’t see a great indication for surgical intervention.I suppose you can experiment with Botox. It’s relatively harmless and that it tends to be mostly gone by 6 to 8 weeks anyway. Fillers are pretty forgiving and you can watch while they inject and discuss with a provider.I would be hesitant to make permanent changes. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
